Dan's and Winegar's case lot sales are just wrapping up. Macey's is just starting (prices good from Sep 24-Sep 30). They have 25 lb. Western Family granulated sugar for $8.99 (a 30+ year home storage product). This is about the best price you will get this year. They have: Western Family diced or stewed tomatoes, WF chicken or tomato soup, WF corn or cut beans for 49¢ each (case of 24 for $11.76), Campbell's cream soups (mushroom or chicken) and WF tuna for 69¢ ($33.12/case of 48). They also have: Albacore solid white tuna for 99¢ ea. (24/$23.76), WF Clover Honey 80-oz. bottle for $7.99, WF tomato sauce for 19¢ each (case of 48 for $19.16), WF brownie mixes at 99¢ ea. (case of 12 for $11.88). Their cake mixes are 89¢ ea. (case of 12 for $10.68) and evaporated milk for 79¢ ea. (case of 24 for $18.96). Two more that I need to mention are cooking oil (Canola ore Vegetable) 128 oz. for $7.99 ea. and Nonfat dry milk at $13.79 ea. These are all great basic food storage items. There are other great deals there as well.
Reams is not in a case lot sale but right now they have Pork Loin Chops, Pork Loin End Roast, and "Country Style" Prok Ribs all at $1.59/lb., cake mixes at 88¢ ea. and Progresso Soups 10/$10. Prices good till Sep. 29th.
Smith's also has boneless, skinless chicken breasts at $1.59/lb., Pork Picnic Roast at $1.39/lb. and red seedless grapes at 99¢/lb (I know that grapes aren't a food storage item, but it is a good price). Prices good till Sep. 30th.
If you shop at Albertson's, they have a few good deals on meat as well: Beef Back Ribs at $1.49/lb., Cook's Shank Portion Ham at $1.69/lb. and Pork Shoulder Picnic Roast at $1.49/lb. Prices good till Sep. 30th.
