Whole Wheat Waffles

Ever wondered, "Now I have all this wheat, what do I do with it?"  Grind some up and here is a great recipe.

Whole Wheat Waffles

2 eggs
1-3/4 cups milk
1 stick butter or marg., melted
2 cups whole wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Heat waffle iron.  In blender, process eggs until fluffy.  Add milk and dry ingredients.  Process until smooth.  Add butter.  Pour batter in small amounts onto middle of waffle iron.  Bake until steaming stops.  Serve with maple syrup or cinnamon syrup.
