News about Purchasing Canned Meat from Wet Pack Cannery

I have been informed that the FDA, for an undisclosed reason, has halted the LDS Wet Pack Cannery from selling any canned meat products to those who work a shift at the cannery.  They are still allowing the cannery to can meat for welfare, but are not allowing it to be purchased like with other non-meat products.  We are encouraged to pray for those making this decision in the FDA that their hearts will be softened.  It is good to be able to work a shift to aid those in need at the cannery.  It is also good to remember that the cannery is there to help the members accomplish the directive by past and present Prophets to build our own food storage.  Please remember this in your prayers, for not only ourselves but for the entire church membership.
